Didn't have to heat the screws but that would have worked too. Just have to be carefull as the cover plate is polymer or molded plastic. Thanks for the advice though. I also received 2 new 13 round magazines so I'm pretty well set. Once the red dot was mounted I had a little trouble getting the pistol to lock in to my new Vedder Light Draw holster. I used a Dremal to sand away just a slight amount of material where the red dot housing meets the holster an now it works fine.</blockquote>
