Hey everyone, Was out shooting the other day and my .40 started kicking out mags after each round. After stripping I noticed the slide rail opposite of the ejection port had a sizable crack and separation from the slide. Does anyone know if M&P resolved the problem and why it was a problem in the first place? After doing some net searching it seems like this is not common at all but has happened, in a endurance test and a few other instances. First M&P pistol I have had and I love it, in fact the rest of my pistols have been riding the safe since purchase, but this is def. a major no go. Have not been shooting anything special out of it, just wwb, blazer brass, and one magazine of winchester elites for cycling check. Anyone here personally seen this happen before? Sorry for the bad lighting in the pic but you get the picture.
