Here's a couple with my M1... Its a rack grade CMP rifle. Its an H&R; barrel says May of '55. Its not too pretty and it has lots of mixed and matched parts, but it looks like a battle rifle should, if you ask me. All I care about is that its bore and throat erosion are both under 2, and it shoots like nobody's business.

The first pic is me and the 2nd is an 11 year old kid I let shoot it (both are from an Appleseed I shoot bossed in Kansas). The kid loved it! Look at that position... he's all slung up, forward hand relaxed, elbow under the rifle, cheek weld, turkey neck, maybe he's draggin wood a little bit, but you can tell he learned a little something about marksmanship at the shoot! And no, recoil didn't bother him a bit... he had it good and pocketed like a pro! If you look, you'll see the clips flying in both pics. The kid's dad took both pics and I guess he had good timing!

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr........You guys make me sick. Guess I'm gona have to buy a piece of history as well. Been wantin' to get one for the Old man, He had alot of time on them when he was in. (korean era). I love all the old stories he tells about them, and I wanna' here that "ping"! Now that's the sound of America!!!!
