Thanks for sharing! I leave Monday for Anniston, AL. I was drawn in the lottery for the armorers class AT CMP. They will show me how to assemble an M1 from the ground up. Then I get to keep the M1 I build!

Enjoy the class! I learned how to build an M1 the hard way, and made a lot of mistakes ;)

Dude!!! That is awesome!
I haven't had the nerve to totally disassemble my H&R yet. I did find a period accurate bayonet for it last week, with scabbard. Only thing left is the cleaning kit.
