Holy hell that's a lot of requirements. I'm sure I can pull through all of that but shoot that's gonna take a while. xD I will once I get the opportunity to get membership to the OKC Gun Club (a friend of my mom's was a member some years ago. I dunno if she's still one though). I'm gonna set to work on getting all the stuff necessary to get that Garand since.... Well... Before, it was just a rifle I longed for since I was a kid (Medal of Honor and that signature ping hooked me...) but now... Now... It's a rite of passage. As far as I know, a C&R is necessary to even begin to look at getting a Garand from the CMP. Or is that not the case? It's you guys and the original Medal of Honor WWII PC game. It sparked a deep-rooted passion for those who served in that war and the history and grit of weapons used in that era. Of all the US rifles used since her birth to today, I have to say that the M1 Garand is by far my favorite. Why? Because that ping when the empty clip ejects just about drives me nuts. Besides... I just like antique firearms. I love having pieces of history surrounding me. /nerdingout
