13:30 - MAN DAY ORIENTATION MEETING, SHOOTING RANGE BRIEFING, INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO NOT KILL YOURSELF, SIGN UP FOR TOP SHOT EVENT

13:45 - 15:45---SHOOTING RANGE OPENS, FULL AUTO RENTALS, BRING YOUR OWN GUNS OR RENT SOME AT THE TABLES, BRING YOUR OWN AMMO OR BUY OURS, STEEL AND CLAY TARGETS, TANNERITE

13:45 - DARK -- SHOTGUN SHOOTING RANGE, FULL TRAPS AND ROOM FOR 20 SHOOTERS. BRING YOUR BUDDIES AND GET YOUR GAME ON.

14:00 - 17:00 --- MECHANICAL BULL ON SITE. COME GET AFTER IT FELLAS, RIDE YOURSELF TO GLORY, OR DISGRACE. ONE OF THOSE TWO SEEMS COMMON.

14:00 - DARK --- SMALL BALL BASKETBALL DOWN ON THE COURT, 8 FOOT, 9 FOOT, WHATEVER HEIGHT YOU NEED TO GET YOUR DUNK ON. BALLS PROVIDED.

15:45 - CAR AUCTION FOR THE POND RACE. PLACE YOUR SILENT BID AT THE REGISTRATION TENT, TOP BID GETS FIRST CHOICE OF CAR AND THEN WORKS DOWN. LIVE BAND TAKES THE STAGE.

16:00 - 18:00 --- CAR RACE AT THE POND, WATCH 18-20 MARGINALLY SOUND CARS RACE AROUND A SAND POND UNTIL THEY DIE, CATCH FIRE, GET MOVED TO THE SHOOTING RANGE.

16:00 - 18:00 --- LIVE BAND PLAYING ROCK COVERS TAKES THE STAGE. EXPLOSIONS, CARS REVVING, AND JOE WALSH ROCKING IN THE BACKGROUND. FREAKING MAN DAY!!!

16:00 - 18:00 --- 3 ON 3 TOURNEY. SIGN UP AT THE REGISTRATION TENT FROM NOON ON.

18:00 - BOWLING BALL CANON DEMONSTRATION. 9 POUND BOWLING BALL SHOT 2000 FEET. HECK YEAH.

18:00 - GROUP MAN DAY PIC IN FRONT OF CARS BURNING FOR THE WEBSITE, AND BECASUE FIRE IS AWESOME

SUNDAY 08:00 TO AROUND NOON -- WE NEED 40-50 OF YOU TO COME OUT, OR STAY NIGHT, AND CLEAN UP THE FACILITY, LOAD TRASH AND STORE ALL THE MAN DAY STUFF FOR NEXT YEAR. STEAK FEED IMMEDIATELY AFTER AND LIKELY A FEW HONEYBUN AND BACON SANDWICHES.

Way too many things on that schedule for me

My idea of a man day is finally getting to take one of these beautiful days we are having and take the kids pond fishing. The only competition would be to see who gets the biggest crappie

Yeah, after what I saw the doctor doing to my ankle and me having to use a walker -- a WALKER, for Chrissake!!! -- for the next two weeks I think my RNG days are behind me. I'd like to be able to get from the sofa to the toilet and back without crawling on my hands and knees in my old age ok ok ok my REALLY old age ... I'm ready to just get back in the gym and work on core strength and build muscle that will keep me functional. I don't need to do anything rowdy that might set back the progress I've made in the gym.

No kidding, cold or not, it's hard to beat laying behind a SAW or an M60 while waiting on good food to be cooked I probably won't make it this year though.

Don't beat yourself up too bad; you couldn't have come anyway. Hope you heal up quick and get your feet back under you! fyi, I wouldn't recommend putting tennis balls on your walker if you have a lot of carpet.

Oh, I know -- which, btw, I think is silly, but it ain't my rodeo. No carpet here, except in the hallway, and I've already done the slip-sliding away thing. Good grief. I've decided the pain meds aren't for my ankle, they are for my arms and shoulders. Yikes.

And the doc says I have to have my other ankle done, too, after this one heals. Go figure. I do enjoy shooting competitions so I guess I'll stick with USPSA when the doc releases me.

Ya might consider using crutches (or maybe just one). They let your armpit(s) help support some of the weight.

Been <somewhat> there with a severe ankle sprain. One crutch worked fine for me.
