Financing people's poor choices isn't any more part of our foundational ideals than outlawing the possession and use of chemicals and plants.Remove the subsidization and the problem largely solves itself. Of course there will be a lot of folks unable to stomach the idea of crack/meth babies dying because of poor parenting, and that will lead to more intervention and theft of taxpayer dollars to fund those little bastards too.We've become too wealthy and comfortable to allow Nature to run her course.
