Getting back into shotgun reloading, the load combo I plan to use call for 31gr of IMR Blue , The MEC bushing chart calls for a #32 , with that am throwing 28gr , with #34 am throwing 30-30.4gr of BLUE still about 1gr light, plan hit Jerry's or Sportworlds for #35.#36,#37 tomorrow try to hit the 31-32gr range. Question is nomial for the MEC chart or does Blue just throw lite. Are other powders off too ???

16 ga 1 1/8, 2 3/4 Fiocchi blue hull, Rem Sp16 wad, no card, 1200 fps

Unless you need a true 1200fps load, loading a little light will work well and save old shoulders and old guns. Also, the MEC machine will throw heavier when operated through a full cycle loading shells than when you just operate the bar once to get a powder charge to weigh.
I've used MEC shotgun loaders 50 years for all gages, including 16ga, and usually find the recommended bushings "close enough for jazz."
Hint: be careful with hull and wad changes which can cause HUGE pressure changes.

Went by Jerry's and picked up #35,36,37,38, the 35 is the answer. I started shotgun reloading in 1985 on base at Shaw Ab Sc, the gun club manager set me up with Mec 600mk5 and set of bushings from Gander Mt and told me to use a #32 with Reddot and 1 1/8 wad and it all worked, Now starting back I just want to see what the bushings would throw and come close to +\- of the listed wt . I will try this load and back down if needed
