    I've never cut one anywhere near that big, but when they are tall and hit the ground they sometimes, bounce/wiggle away from the stump, especially if their aren't any branches close to the base.

    If you lighten up the image you can see more detail. Looks to me like the trunk bounced back some and is lying on the stump. :anyone:
