My story isn't as cool as some of these, but I gotta brag a little. Met my GF at work, she was a cute mailroom girl and since I get alot of packages from vendors she was a somewhat frequent visitor. I have somewhat of a rep up here for what I write on my Facebook statuses, definitely not work friendly, so I started writing "clean material" on a dry erase board that I have in my cubicle. One day she comes in to deliver some box that a repair vendor send to me by mistake and sees what is written on my board, "President of Level 3's Justin Bieber Fan Club". Her face literally lights up and she talks about how she loves Bieber and that she wants to be the VP of the club. Of course she knows it's a joke, but I play along and tell her she has to be voted in and such and there are lot of people in the running. Everyday I'd run into her and she would ask if the votes were in yet, eventually I told her she won and was the new VP. We started talking more and joking around, and I learned her age and that she was married. Well I'm not that guy so I kept it friendly and never acted like a creepy dude or went over the line. She left the company, but we remained friends on Facebook and would joke around and make goofy comments on each others statuses. Almost a year later, I randomly hit her up on FB about something funny that happened at work that she would relate to, anyway we get to talking and she tells me she is down in the dumps, living back with her parents and getting a divorce. There was a band in town I wanted to see the next night and I asked her if she wanted to go just to get out and have some fun. She said yes, but stressed it wasn't a date. Well that was almost 6mths ago and we've been pretty inseperable ever since, even though the age gap is pretty big. Let's just say I graduated HS before she even entered kindergarten.
