Not an NRA member here so you didn't bother me any. It does bother me that someone who claims to be paying attention posts this info about microstamping like it is breaking news that will swing some votes is everybody just knew. Since you seem to not want to read the link from NSSF, there has already been a study for the state of California that showed microstamping does not give the results the anti-gunners believe. The new, national study, through the National Academy of Science, will have to recognize the earlier CA work as part of the research process. The NAS will conduct further research and report results back to Congress. Ideally, it will validate the CA study and provide more in-depth research to support it. The Congressional committee will then take notice of the research results as part of legislative process and that should be where it ends, assuming the adults are in charge by then. I'm not in Boren's district so I have no say in his re-election. My observation is that he gets it right for the most part but I do have several, significant points of disagreement with him and his national party leadership (Pelosi/Reid/Obama). If the Dems are removed from the majority in Congress, things will be able to be turned back and Boren will have no effective pressure on him from his leadership on legislation.
