Mini tool Boxes are ALL the rave. Or are they?

That’d go over like pork chops at a Jewish picnic with the Mrs. We have a deal, I get the garage, basement to do with as I wish along with right of refusal in the kitchen (I’m the cook) and she gets the rest of the house. No way I’d get that to pass inspection as a jewelry box

I'm inspired by these mini-tool boxes.

I'm going to go into town today and look at them,,,
I think they would (could) make great presentation boxes for handguns.

Pistol or pistols in the top compartment,,,
Cleaning supplies in one drawer,,,
Ammo/mags in the other.

I'll let you all know if I buy one to try out.

Well GP, I have a 2nd story with three bedrooms, a bathroom and a living room, then below that is the 1st story with the Master BR, kitchen, dining, family and living rooms + garage…….blablabla. Now below all that is this here place I call my basement aka Man Cave with a big living area, separate bedroom and full bath. Yes, I’m spoiled rotten.

Those mini toolboxes from Harbor Freight didn't pan out.

At least not today they didn't.

I decided, why wait until tomorrow to take a look at them,,,
So I showered and powdered and drove into town,,,
They had sold out every one they had.

I mentioned what I was thinking of using them for,,,
The clerk just laughed and said I wasn't the first.

They actually had to ask a man to take his guns outside,,,
Apparently he brought a big range bag full,,,
He had at least nine pistols out.

They told him he couldn't have them out in the store,,,
They made him buy one (which he could return),,,
Then go out to his car to check which would fit.

The clerk said he ended up buying seven of them.

So I'll just have to wait a while to try one myself,,,
He said they were trying to get more before Christmas.

I'm all bummed out,,,
They probably won't be on sale when they get more in.
