(being lazy and don't want to go back to quote) My first high school, Westmoore, was a mix of wannabe rich (very high middle class), a few rich, and poor. I was in the poor class. The parking lot was mostly higher end cars as most of the poor kids rode the bus. My mom bought a 81 Plymouth Horizon for $500 when she killed her 84 Escort diesel wagon. Then she got a good deal on a Buick Skylark and gave the Horizon to me. It was a bare bones plain jane econobox. No a/c, no power anything, 1.7 L 4 banger. But hey, it beat the bus. I would get to school early to get a good spot. Well, to those upper ups on the money ladder kids that wasn't acceptable. For a week solid someone would hock a loogy on my car. I took it to the 10th grade principal and was told there is nothing they can do. I finally just parked in a different area and at the end of the school year I transferred to Moore High. To this day I still love and miss that little car. Had a lot of fun times in it. Unfortunately I had two accidents in a 3 week span in my senior year, the second was a head on collision that completely killed it.
