Many won’t put in the effort. Opportunities are out there. My company starts operators at 20 an hour and we can’t find people to work. It isn’t as easy to get the jobs as, say, fast food, but we will usually give a chance to anyone with a fairly stable work history who presents themselves well at an interview. We struggle to find people who can pass a drug test, will show up to work on time and maintain a professional attitude. With overtime opportunities, these are jobs that will allow one to support a home and family, and we can’t fill them.</p></blockquote><p></p>
