I was reloading 223 this afternoon and had a round go off on the press. fortunately, injuries were minor and no damage to equipment.

I think I used my last bit of luck, so I quit reloading for the afternoon.

I'm still trying to figure out of I got hit with pieces of unspent powder, or pieces of vaporized brass.

I was very lucky. cracked my safety glasses. I'm still deaf in my left year.

on the last articulation of the arm, I crimp the bullet. as the round cycled back down, something set it off. not sure what. the primer is actually flat on the bottom, so I'm not sure what happened.

This is the first incident in thousands and thousands of rounds.
