Message: <blockquote data-quote="jrguns" data-source="post: 2127016" data-attributes="member: 26223"><p>I used to launch rockets as a kid.  Got some for my kids and we built them.  Shot the first one off.  It went up and up and up and up.  Out of sight.  No smoke no streamer.  Nothing.  They and their mom looked at me and said well that's it.  It's gone.  I had to explain what was supposed to happen.  So reluctently we shot the second one off.  It went better that time as we did retrieve it.  But the initial excelleration tore off the fins.  Guess I bought motors that were too big.</p></blockquote><p></p>
