    They got it right. The Colt Commander is exactly what every gun looks like in the shooters head. You don't have to make the perfect gun, John Browning beat you to it.

    Behlert was a master when it came to modifying either a Hi Power or a 1911. Just as Ted Yost is these days. Nice couple of Commanders, guys.

    The Browning I have for my aviator was tuned by Behlert. He did good work.

    In all honesty, I really think my favorite 1911, as of right now anyway, is my Ruger SR1911 in 9mm. But the Colt is a .45AUTO, as JMB wanted it, so what's not to like?

    C'mon, my friend, surely you know that the original Colt Commander was first chambered in 9mm? Nothing wrong with a touch less recoil on arthritic wrists.:D
