A friend of mine, in Houston, has one that he loves. He likes the fit for his hand, and has had no problems of any kind. I believe he bought it about this time last year. He has me thinking about one.

I haven't heard anything very exciting about them but personally I'm not interested in anything but Glock, M&P, maybe HK, and old S&Ws when it comes to handguns.

So many quality pistols in that price range. I would ask why would you consider a Mossberg pistol. I played with one at gun store once when a buddy was looking for for a new carry pistol. For same money you could have a M&P or various others at the time. I would say no no and no. If it was the same money as a Taurus maybe. As that is what it looked like a competitor to imo.

These are not the firearms you're looking for.

As long as it isn't an EDC pistol, some of us are drawn to the quirky, off-beat, oddball, and orphans of the firearms world. Some of mine fit this category and shoot quite well. I guess my drummer is in syncopation mode.

A Swedish Lahti may be next on my radar....

I agree. There's a lot more to this firearm hobby than EDC. I enjoy trying things I haven shot before, and if that requires buying one, then that's what we do. I have bought many that I didn't keep for more than a year or so, some times even less than that. But I don't mind spending for something like that. I don't do the casino route, or many of the other things known for collecting money, so trying out new firearms fits me just fine.
