I'd say in spite of the fact I like them, 1911's in .45 ACP are very over rated. The .45 ACP has a minimal advantage over 9 mm + P rounds or .357 Magnum, the 1911 is SA only, has a relatively small magazine capacity and is not as accurate as many pistols out of the box. People spend $100's upgrading them or have gunsmithing done. The 2011's do resolve many issues but I have yet to fire one. I do like 1911's, just do not think they are as great as the legends suggest.</p></blockquote><p></p>
