Prine is beyond brilliant. He's in Tulsa soon, but it's a Saturday during the deer rut. Otherwise I'd be there. :D He's ties Townes VanZandt for my favorite singer/songwriter. Prine's much more versatile though, and his humor is spot on. So many songs that are absolutely perfect. His cohort Steve Goodman is another good one. I heard Allah and Buddha were singing at the Savior's feast And up in the sky an Arabian rabbi Fed Quaker oats to a priest. Fawesome video, and great choice for an underataed band. I love the buildup of riffage/bass/drums. in that song. Pretty tight band. Simple and loud. I can't belive I forgot to mention my all time favorite....PRIMUS!!!! Talk about underrated, Ler can flat out play. Overshadowed by less, but the dude is amazing. Tim The Herbal Drummer and Brain are both sumbitchs' on a drum set too. Les speaks for himself. PRIMUS will always be the masters because they are all talented enough to do anything, but chose to record ridiculously goofy, long, experimental funk jam band songs. Primus will always suck, and Larry will always be a *******.
