I have a friend in Louisiana the has 4 Moultrie Edge WiFi cameras. He said the deer look right at them like they see them and go the other way and then avoid the area altogether. He relocated them and the same thing happened. He has regular game cameras in the area and they don't do it to them? Any thoughts? Has anyone else ever had this happen? He said he walks in front of them and gets pictures of himself but does not hear any camera noise.

Maybe it sends out a frequency you can’t hear. As a side note, my moultrie feeder has a varmint guard that is electrified. When it was on, deer avoided the feeder, when I turn that varmint guard off, deer came back, seems odd though
I wondered about the frequency but I don't think he has tried it since he cancelled the cell service.

I’m on a couple trail cam pages on FB, and I’ve never seen anything but positive reviews about Moultrie cell cameras. On my Spartans, they make an audible “beeb” from the factory, but you can turn it off in the the set up process. I wonder if there’s something like that with the Moultries?

What model are you using?
Mine are all Browning and I am not sure which one is in the spot that is doing this. I think one is the Strike Force in one location but I have several different models and not sure what the two are that are doing this.

I check mine quite often and where I used to have dozens of deer in this location and others, I now am lucky to see one or two every two weeks. It is full of cows and hogs so I know that the cameras work.
