I carry a "mouse gun" every day from when I get up until going to bed. It never leaves my side.
I practice with it on occasion, but do know its limitations. It's a very close range round, and typically used as a last resort or to gain time to get to something more adequate. That's pretty much the end of the discussion of mouse guns.
Having one in deep carry is better than walking the streets bare assed nekkid of firearms.

The wizard drill was brought up,
Shoot the wizard drill with your mouse gun, if you can’t pass this drill you’ve got some work to do.
Training with them is so important because they are difficult to shoot well.
I think that Mr W is correct regarding penetration vrs expansion in these platforms.
Will the cartridge and barrel length your using penetrate enough to do the job?

Let us know your results. What kind of ammo do you like to run in your mouse guns? I enjoy shooting 38 Spl 148gr wadcutters out of my j frames.
