I'm trying to check alignment of a welded scope mount tab on an MP5 clone. What is the datum used to establish straightness on the sheet metal receivers?

I’m by no means an expert, but I thought H&K only had the welded scope mount on the PSG-1’s. Can you post a pic?

PTR has a welded on rail up top On their mp5 variant

It's the part in front of the rear sight in the picture that the claw mount indexes off. I guess it's also a recoil lug for the mount.
