I have only tried MREs a couple of time. Reminded me to much of the old C-Rats we tried when I was a kid.
Anyone else remember the c-rats eggs???? :puke::puke::puke:

Yep.......... Had some OLD c-rats back in basic training in 1975 at Fort Leonard Wood..... I think those eggs must have been packed in WWII....

At least later on the c-rats seemed to be the same DECADE of production........ Used to collect the cigarettes in c-rats and trade to the smokers who would run out when out in the field......

This will come as no surprise to some of you, but I have yet to find an MRE, military or civilian alike, that I did not like. Although, I really preferred LRRP rats to standard MRE fare.
