Message: <blockquote data-quote="oklaccer" data-source="post: 2088047" data-attributes="member: 6156"><p>Just because land is owned by the feds, does not necessarily make it a GFZ.  It depends on which branch of the federal gov. owns the land.  While a national park owned by one branch of the fed. gov. may comply with local state laws, other branches may prohibit entirely.  You say the city leases the land, but do they operate the FBO?  If the building is operated by a private company, that would be a different situation than if the city staffed the building.  This would be a good question for the legal entity with control over the airport.  If you can't find that information, PM me and I can get it for you, or just post which airport it is.</p></blockquote><p></p>
