Muzzleloader blowup. Caution, don't open if your squeamish.

This happened to a feller from a nearby town. I do not know the whole story. The newspaper story said he cleaned it and then popped a cap to clear the flash channel. I'd reckon there is more to the story than that, as I don't think they make caps that strong.

Was the guy from Smithville? I know of an incident a few years back that injured the shooters hand pretty badly, but I don't remember the details.
