My 2 new kids

When my first dog died I was so devastated that I didn't think I would ever get another pet again. Three years has pass and my fiance suggests that we get another pet since one of our friend's chihuahua has puppies. We went to take a look at the puppies and end up picked these two. Can't wait to take them home in about 5 weeks.

I used to hate Chihuahuas until my 'rents got one.

I gotta say...they've got a lot of personality. They grow on you.

Those are cute! They look like little baby pits!

Here are pictures of Maddox. He's an Applehead Chihuahua. We got him for my wife on Christmas, at 6 weeks old. Didn't like Chi's too much, but they really do grow on you...

I was tired and it was like 0200 after Christmas.

And this is him last month. About 6.5-7 lbs.

Had to chime in here! I'm allergic to almost any dog except Chihuahuas, I used to not be, but anyway. After our boxer died we decided to get one, long story short we found one while waiting on a reply to an offer on another one so we ended up with both. One is a deer head and one an apple from show stock, but has bow legs so they couldn't breed her, so they gave her to me for nothing as long as I paid their vet to spay her so they knew she wouldn't be used for breeding. Then hubby and kids found another one at a friends condo complex, we tried to find owners and never could. Now we have 3, all very different but very wonderful personalities!!!!!!
