[QUOTE="magna19, post: 2852897, member: 24646"] I got some silicon carbide paste in for the fire lapping of Ruger BH #1. The kit came with 120 180 240 320 400 600 800. I put 210 deg to some 215 gr. cast bullets and removed the lubed. Then loaded primed unresized cases of 3.0 gr of W231 powder. Shot a total of 36 rounds. Cleaned the gun in between each 6 shots. First 18 shots 180/240/320 6 shots each. Then 12 shots with the 400, then finished with 6 shots with the 600 grit. I didn’t use the 120 or 800. The fire lapping loads went 500-510 fps over the chronograph. Shot the same loads as previously to compare the fire lapping and was very happy with the results. I shot one jacketed bullet prior to each 215 gr cast load. Oregon Trails on the left went 6 @ 2.31 and 2.74 the JK Bullets on the right went 6 @ 1.54 and 2.06. I usually don’t call pulled shots unless extremely obvious but the one low/right shot in the JK Bullet load was pulled. I may stop here and be satisfied with this gun and load.
