I've had a 1964 14' Starcraft for about 20 years, I got it on Craigslist for $400. It didn't have the front two benches anymore so I put a plywood floor in it long ago and have used it to haul generators and welders over the years. Amazingly, it has never leaked. I shopped for newer Aluminum boats over the years and was always disappointed in the how thin the metal was. Eventually I gave up ok the idea of replacing it and bought a 2022 Mercury engine for it. The fuel injected models start easily and I can burn the same gas in a generator since it isn't mixed with oil.
