No. He had fallen in really thick grass but was laying in the sun and I didn't find him till 1:30. I took him to the butcher but he was already green. I hated it.Any luck salvaging the meat?
I don't have a clue but I think he has been on my camera for several years and had a messed up side each year. I've heard if they get an injury on the opposite side they can do that but I don't know.That’s a heavy buck. Did he have bad genetics or do you think it was his age that affected his rack?

He would have except I could drive the tractor right up to him and slide him in the front end loader bucket. I was lucky.Congrats on the hoss! He’d be a chore to drag out.
