    Okay, the stain and polyurethane top coat looks good. I’m going to let it dry one more day just make sure, and plan to assemble it tomorrow. I gotta stretch it out a bit, can’t do too much in one day cause...corona-bored. Pics will be forthcoming!

    I’m thinking a maple stain would look pretty good on one of those guys. I’m partial to maple stocks.

    Well it’s already done. But maybe if I build a Kentucky pistol I could do a Maple stain. Good idea.

    No! I can't see you traipsing through the woods with mismatched rifle and pistol. It's just not done.

    I wood mare my stock a deep rich red cherry stain. I just love red cherry furniture.
