It reads good and its your opinion. Heres my rub. Your a Libertarian yet registered as a Republican. While you claim 50% GOP values and 30% Dem. values. Kinda leaves on 20% for the Libertarian cause. The way our system is supposed to work is for our elected officials to represent their district. That doesnt happen anymore, because our Gov must govern in spite of the ignorant masses. The real problem isnt so much political parties, rather, its the citizens themselves. When people stop treating women, gays, christians and minorities as special intrest groups to be catered too and treat each other as equals under the Constitution, many of the problems go away. Fiscal issues should be negotiated and compromised on with some semblance of balance. What works in NY might not fit in OK. Lastly always remember this, since the civil war, it is the Fed. Gov's job to protect the citizens rights against the whims of a particular states population. It is the state and local government that affects us tge most, yet it is our own Officials we hold least accountable. Think of the "sharia law" debacle and recent immigration laws. Anyway, strive to be objective and aim for the mean.
