FWIW to the OP, I made no comments judging you. I said it is now at a premium.... and it was. No more.... no less.
Let it go fellas. Pistol is off the market and comfortable in my safe. I was still able to help out my buddy. He's not living in the dark and I still have my 1911, so it's all gravy.
I really hope you can at least empathize with me, when it comes to the frustration of having to sell something that you'd really rather not sell. I thought it was disrespectful that you all started making comments about the pricing of the gun and it pissed me off. Again, I was pissed that I was having to sell a gun that I had just aquired; so my actions and attitude reflected that. I have apologized publicly.
