What is even sadder is that her husband has diabetes really bad and Alzheimer's.. and doesn't know her most of the time. He was in the house alone all that time, so he couldn't report her missing. I'm praying both of them are OK and don't suffer any long term difficulties over this. I've never met the lady, but may try to get in touch with one of her immediate neighbors and provide them with a good stout cord and a handle to put on the inside of the woman's shed door connected to the latch... or talk with her about letting me put it on for her. Edit: Just saw the Channel 7 news story about this elderly lady. It reported that the police had located her. To me, it appeared my neighbor located the woman before the police & ambulance had arrived. I was in the alley before the police had arrived in front of the house and never saw the neighbor until she came out of the privacy fence gate. She said she had located the woman because the woman had started beating on the metal sides of the shed. The news story also said she had a lot of blankets and a space heater inside the shed to help keep her warm. Neighbor told me the woman was very chilled and the poor thing could hardly walk... no mention of a space heater or blankets. So the truth about what the real situation was like inside the shed is up in the air. Just glad she and her husband are OK
