Well, it's been a couple of years since my last project. Went ahead and picked this up from my brother. It has been in the family awhile, and also has been sitting for about 9 years OUTSIDE. 400 4 bolt main smallblock, 4 speed manual. It was a fairly wild motor when it was fresh and first built, time to get 'er going again.

Pardon the dirty garage, it's a work in progress....

Nice! My father has a 72 (as you may be aware, the last year as a "muscle" and not "touring" car, according to some critics). No power options, no a/c. It was all motor. He sold it when my brother and I were 4 and 5-ish. I miss that car :(

Oh, that garage ain't dirty. I can still see the floors and walls.

For sitting outside for 9 years that Vette looks really clean.

I may have stretched the truth a little, it's been inside for the last year. However, it sat outside before that for over 8 years. No washing, no cleaning until this weekend. Shocking how clean it came out. Pictures make it look a bit better then what it is in person.
