I have an old old Glock 27 that I want to get checked out and the springs/extractor/parts/etc. checked out on it. I need a Glock armorer that really knows his stuff as I am very particular. I’ve had this gun for around 18 years. Also need new sights. I am in Tulsa. Attached is a pic, notice the front of the grip is smooth. I assume there is some type of factory replacement kit for the springs. Thanks for any and all info.

You can change out all the guts yourself. It's very simple. Just YouTube it. Instructional vids are all over it.

I do 99% of my own work... when I have something beyond my skills and don't feel comfortable I take my project to Sports World... they do good work... rebuilding a glock is easy... like... really easy...

Glocks are extremely modular. They are probably one of the most simple modern firearm pistols to work on. Like mentioned just go on YouTube and look up a few videos. You can probably get all new item springs for less than $30. You add a smith to it, tack on another $100. Working on a Glock is about as hard as brushing your teeth. So easy a caveman could work one.

You can use the dealer finder on the Glock website to find dealers in your area. A few phone calls to the dealers should net you who is Glock certified. Nothing wrong with wanting someone else to do the work for you. Sure it’s easy, but peace of mind is also worth something.

I knew a guy that was about to sell his Tavor because he lost trust in it after he took it to the range and he started getting erratic misfires.. Long story short... he bent the firing pin return spring while cleaning it. He wasn’t a mechanically inclined person and it wasn’t immediately obvious there was a problem during the reassembly process. It was his home defense rifle and it sat at home for weeks before he took it out to the range and discovered the issue.
