Need reccomenations for easy to start chainsaw

    I have always had a lot of trouble cranking two cycle engines. Chainsaws especially. Any reccomendations?

    Dewalt 60v chainsaw is easy to start. Cuts very well.

    I have a huskavarna that has a decompression button sure makes starting a lot easier and it hasn’t failed me in 5 years

    I have used a Black & Decker 18 volt chainsaw for about ten years (8 inch) and it does real good. But if there's a gasoline chainsaw that starts without giving me tendinitis in my elbow I'm eager to find out - lol!

    Decompression button? Edit: so there isn't any compression when you pull, eh? That sounds like it's worth looking into.

    Most generally if you are having issues starting a 2 stroke it is because your mixing rich and fouling the plug. Revisit the manual or google it up and make sure your not running 40:1 when it should be 50:1.

    I second this. I have coworker who has the 20v version and says it will do everything he needs it to do

    Neighbor's kid. I could watch that boy trying to start thing all damn day. He doesn't know about the kill switch I guess...Hell, I get tired of watchin' him.
