This Vietnam vet found out the hard way. He pulled a .380 pistol on a knife brandishing robber and prevented a robbery & possible personal injury/death. What did he get for his efforts, he was suspended. :pissed::madbox:

There are way too many that prohibit firearms. I guess they think that is going to keep bad things from happening. Because we all know that gun free zones keep people safe.

For some it is a liability issue. They do not want to be liable for the stray bullet from their employee. For others they may just not like guns.

No longer the case. In November 13 the law changed. Now Business owners are exempt from any civil liability UNLESS someone can prove gross negligence.

the company i work for doesnt allow so much as a pocket knife, and confiscates your box cutter before they tell you you've been fired.

buncha cowards.
