Well I finished emptying Dads gun safe. These are some I used when hunting with dad years ago. The Winchester 16 ga and browning 16 ga are my favorites. Dad always carried the Browning and I mostly used the Winchester. Good memories. The Browning A-bolt is like new and I bet it hasnt been fired a dozen times.

Welll I'm a little embarrassed to say, I don't even know lol. I went to get the guns not knowing what I would be getting and I saw it. Never seen it before and I didn't have my readers so I couldn't tell what It said. Haven't touched them again since I laid them out on the table but, I'm taking the .2 to the range soon to check the sights. So I'mm know more about it. I'm betting Remington.

I looked at the pic a little closer. The white insert back by the rear sling stud tell me it’s probably a marlin. Model 82 or 83? Great guns and fantastic plinkers. The insert indicates that it’s a walnut stock

Yep, I bet we walked 1000 miles chasing quail n pheasant. I remember dad telling me I wasnt big enough in the britches every year when I was `10-14 when I'd ask to go with them. And then I finally got my chance and I tell ya what, that man could wear me out walking but I never acted tired or complained!! He knew I'm sure lol.
