She is not ONLY a gun advacate, She owns a company (Sorry I cant remember the Name) That does all sorts of weapons and tactical training near Kansas City. Simular to US Shooting Acadamy That what this will do, It will make a Violation a fine instead of a felony and loss of permit. Baby steps here, It is pre-emptive for future legisaltion which will include CCW on college campuses. The other issue with the gun buster is, There is suppose to be only one sign, but the AG office has been un willing to say that if someone violates a non AG sign that they will not be prosecuted. Also the AG office have thus far been un willing to define where the signs need to be placed. A number of KSCCW member have passed signs that where blocked from view or placed places like 12 feet above an entry door for example. Or there would be only one sign on an entire building, with 10 entrances to the building. In places like Wichita, Topeka, and Kansas City, sure there is likely some sort of security that you have to go through to get inside these places. However, most of Kansas is like Oklahoma and you could carry a large nuclear weapon into into a court house and somebody, will likely ask you if you need some help with that big load.
