Dutchman has a boatload of Swede info on his site. He's also one of the mods in the Swede section of gunboards. The disk he shows with a 3 for the bore condition is very rare. Not rare as in valuable, but not commonly seen. Normally the barrel would be replaced before it was given a 3 marking. Looks good, Ronny. Though they weren't original to the M96, the threaded barrel can be fun. Ever thread on one of the blank firing adapters and run the wood practice ammo? The threaded barrels came with a later arsenal rebarrelling. Sometimes guys get lucky and find a 96 with the original barrel in decent shape but they're not common. The Swedes were crazy about rebarrelling rifles but that's why there are so many that are in such great shape bore-wise.
