Next Suprime Court Nominee- Eric Holder?

Just got this in an email, did not find anythings in the forum, do not know how legit it is, did not see the show but --- Hold on to your seats folks because this will rock you.

"The rumor mill in Washington is that Obama wants a Supreme Court Judge to retire quickly (i.e., Ginsberg) so he can nominate his pick while Harry Reed and the Dem's still control the US Senate. Remember, this is a LIFETIME appointment. Who is his rumored pick? Are you ready for this?????? "ERIC HOLDER!!!"

Remember Harry Reed changed the rules of the senate so the Republicans couldn't stop it either. What then people??? What do we do then if this happens? This was a discussion topic on "The Five" today. It was brought up by Dana Perino, Bush's former press secretary. Bob Beckle also indicated this possibility on the show. I'll tell you what..... If Obama want's a communist long term legacy, putting Eric Holder on the Supreme Court would do it. That possibility should scare the crap out of all of us. Can you say "Good-Bye 2nd Amendment" for starters?"

Our only hope is that no one on the Supreme Court resigns or retires before January 2015 and that Republicans take the senate in the November, 2014 elections. That is our ONLY hope. If we didn't already have an incentive to vote, this sure as hell is a huge one."

Even in a D. controlled Senate, it would never fly. Reid would have to be suicidal to even attempt it. It would absolutely guarantee that once the R's control the Senate, the D's would wish they'd never heard the name Eric Holder. Even if Reid was crazy enough to try it, too many of his clan would see the writing on the wall and vote against his confirmation.

I will say this, If I were in a tight Senate race, I'd take every opportunity to mention "Supreme Court Justice Eric Holder" as a reason to vote against my D. opponent.

Whew. That's a relief. I could still see them trying it, since they seem to think he has done nothing wrong. I will give him this, I doubt any of the shite he's pulled has been by himself - I'll bet every bit of it was 'vetted' from upstairs before he did it. Although I'm sure he knew going into it that he would be the one to take the fall if anything went wrong - some people will agree to anything to get into a position like that.

I wouldn't doubt it one bit. The country is already so far down the toilet that this would be all the same. Obama gets whatever he wants so if he wants him in, he will be in. No one stands up to Obama. He does whatever he wants, illegal or not with no consequences.
