The 178A Max from the .308 will enter a shoulder and exit the other shoulder..But hope you do not like eating shoulders.The 30-06 i shoot with hornady #3031 bullet 150gr spitzer with lead point will sometimes exit most of the time it is all apart and inside the deer and it will leave a trail of shrapnel in it's path every time.Then you have my 50 cal muzzle loader with 295gr Copper jacket Hollow Point 90gr pyrodex.It exited a deer once,, shot in the neck .. even broad side i only got a bulge on the other side of the animal.That bullet completely fragments inside the deer.As long as I get a dead deer i can care less how it happens.Don't sweat pass through..it is absolutely not needed.</blockquote>
