Well, I had a great weekend of Coaching training! I really liked the format of combing two disciplines into one weekend. The core Coaching elements were taught to both group of Student Coaches, with Pistol taught the first day and Rifle the third day.
I really enjoyed learning from Coach Kevin Jimmersen, Coach of the Corp of Cadets Marksmanship Unit at Texas A&M. He has been very successful at TAMU teaching basic drills, imagery/visualization & dry firing. His students only shoot 80 rounds a week in practice, yet have dominated the Scholastic Action Shooting Program the past 10 years!
