Message: <blockquote data-quote="Shadowrider" data-source="post: 2004702" data-attributes="member: 3099"><p>Believe me, I thought the same thing.  On hindsight it seems that the altitude I stated might be too high, I dunno, maybe not, can't remember.  But I distinctly do remember that the test shot out of Vandenberg went 2500 miles downrange over the Pacific.  The total burn time for all 3 stages put together was just under 6 minutes.  There was no more fuel available, at least that's what we were told.  That test was a full on system test less an actual warhead on the incoming targets.  It had to find an one "enemy" missile out of four total that were launched and kill it.  It did.  Cool stuff!</p></blockquote><p></p>
