Message: <blockquote data-quote="Shadowrider" data-source="post: 2005327" data-attributes="member: 3099">No clue.  But they were testing out of Vandenberg.  Kinda funny now that I think about it.  My mom worked for Boeing out there, my dad was stationed there and I was born there on base.  Dad was damn near killed right before I was born.  They were filming a launch of some missile from a C47.  They lost telemetry which was common back then, and as soon as it comes over the radio, the pilots understandably scrambled like rats.  Dad was well on his way towards going out the open door but was grabbed by someone.  I guess it was just supposed to be that I got to be involved with missiles in some way.</blockquote>
