[QUOTE="ez bake, post: 1350533, member: 229"] This is pure BS at its finest. He couldn't (from even 40,000 feet) describe anything he's doing to rescue our economic situation in any way, shape, or form. This is almost deceptively clever. He wasn't leading anything when he was running for president - he was trying to convince people he was capable. That's not leadership - its lying. I didn't believe everything he said, but I thought he had great things to say about how he was going to reform education (Bush's no child left behind was a disgrace), large public-owned entities and their lobbying / channeling of money overseas to skirt paying taxes (via loopholes), healthcare (I of course assumed he was talking about reforming the giant conglomerates that had a choke hold on hiking prices due to the Governments regulations that had snuffed out the smaller businesses in healthcare - not screwing us all by making it worse and slapping it under the government's control), etc... That was all just talk, not leadership and he's done nothing that he's said, so I guess that statement means that he needs to go back to lying more about what he's going to do - not that he could do less as a President. This is the most clear statement he's made that he truly doesn't understand what "leadership" is. This is a statement of taking responsibility for nothing - it stinks of someone who thinks he's more clever than everyone else around him despite the fact that everyone around him knows better and it sounds a lot like he put about 5 minutes of effort into this recorded interview before scurrying off to his vacation.
