What if they had Intel that there was going to be a bomb, but the city didn't want to call off the race because there was too much money in it? Also, if they didn't believe it was a credible threat, maybe they thought the dogs and stuff would be enough insurance in case someone did try to pull something.I think Occam's razor may apply here, and the political types are just trying to use it to their advantage.</blockquote>
