BUT..... that article is being disingenuous.  If you go for a non-subsidized plan you don't have to reapply every year.  If you apply for a subsidized plan then you have to re-apply (verify income etc) ever year.  Which is a good thing.  Makes it more difficult for the freeloaders out there to get a handout.  If your info isn't current then most likely they will downgrade you, due to the likely fact you won't be able to afford the premium without .gov's help.</p></blockquote><p></p>
