Anybody stick a Turkey yet?
I have turkey on two places showing up in the cams. One area has 13. One mature hen and what looks like 12 baby's which are pretty good size now. No beards on any.
The other place has 5 toms, some are beard draggers. I might have to stick one.

Good looking buck BobbyV!

Good looking doe Elkstalker! I try to convince others who complain about not seeing any good bucks but seeing tons of doe that they need to kill several doe. Some are Elmer Fudd hunters who think that only buck kills have any prestige.
One friend complains about not seeing any good bucks but between him and family, they often kill 5 bucks to 1 doe. In their case, it should be the other way around.

I’m currently using Carbon Express XT4, and they have preformed great. I’ve killed bucks that weighed around 275#, and I haven’t had a single deer go over 75 yards after being hit. I used Excalibur Bolt Cutters for several years, and they served me well too.

In my opinion, shot placement is much more critical than which broadhead, and I also limit my crossbow shots to 35 yards or less. I practice at longer distances, but I won’t shoot a deer past 35 yards and set my stands up accordingly. I killed the buck on Thursday at 29 yards, and he made it about 60 yards before bleeding out.
